Unyva Welcomes Karim Mosaad as New CEO

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Karim Mosaad as the new Chief Executive Officer of Unyva.

Karim is an accomplished business leader with over 15 years of experience in the Middle East and Africa. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership roles in international companies, where he successfully directed key areas including commercial strategy, marketing, and business transformation across diverse markets. Additionally, he has been a member of Unyva's advisory board for the past two years, providing valuable insights into our strategic direction.

His tenure has been marked by his ability to build robust teams, drive sustainable growth, and oversee business operations with clarity and a hands-on approach. Renowned for his capacity to merge strategic vision with effective leadership, Karim has a proven track record of facilitating business growth and evolution from within.

In his new role at Unyva, Karim will undertake the following responsibilities:

-Expand our market access globallyto leverage new business opportunities and enhance our international footprint.
-Increase brand diversityby launching multiple specialized and regional brands to meet diverse consumer segments.

The first member of our new leadership team at Unyva: Ahmed Diaa, HR Manager

Ahmed Diaa is a global HR leader with over 13 years of experience driving people strategy and organizational growth across multinational corporations and government institutions. Most recently, he led HR operations for Emerging Africa at Medtronic, where he played a key role in scaling talent capabilities and supporting business expansion across high-growth markets.

Prior to that, Ahmed spent nearly five years at Signify, where he shaped and executed HR strategy across the African continent. He built and led cross-border HR teams, launched regional learning and development programs, and drove workforce planning that aligned people with performance.

Earlier, at Amadeus IT Group, Ahmed built the HR function in Egypt from the ground up. He established core processes, introduced digital systems, and led the full HR agenda - driving employee engagement, operational efficiency, and long-term organizational growth.

His public sector contributions include policy advisory roles with the Ministry of the Brussels-Capital Region and the European External Action Service (EEAS), where he conducted research on large-scale reforms in employee well-being, mobility, and HR policy.

Trilingual in English, French, and Arabic, Ahmed holds SPHRi certification and dual Master’s degrees in Human Resources and Management. With a unique mix of strategic vision and operational execution, he is recognized for building people-first, performance-driven organizations across borders.
